Celebrating the life of

Robert (Bobby) Earl Hall Jr.

January 06, 1946 - March 27, 2025

Robert (Bobby) Earl Hall Jr.

Robert (Bobby) Earl Hall Jr., age 79, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. Joseph's hospital in Savannah, GA.

Bobby was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water.  While on land, he nurtured his need for speed by racing stock cars, collecting and restoring classical corvettes.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah (Debbie) Dixon Hall, daughter Jenifer Hall (Jen) of Savannah, son Randy Parker of Savannah and was affectionately known as “Poppy” to his granddaughters Olivia Grace Bukowiec and Violet Parker Hall.

He is predeceased in death by his daughter Bonnie Leigh Hall (Ellabell), parents Gladys and Robert Hall Sr. (Stilson), and maternal grandparents Benjamin and Lelia Roberts (Ellabell).

Bobby was born on January 6, 1946, in Savannah, GA.  In high school, he played basketball and was #32 (his daughters and granddaughters continued the tradition of wearing #32). He graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1964. He was employed at Diamond Manufacturing for decades where he was part of the construction of the first ship to shore cranes for the port of Savannah.  After retiring from Diamond, he was the co-owner of A & B Fabrication.  A & B Fabrication was a custom metal construction company.

He was a proud “Past Master” of the Masonic Lodge #469 in Pembroke, GA.  At that time, he was the youngest member of that lodge to reach the status of "32nd Degree Master Mason."

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the following: Tunnels to Towers, St Judes Children Hospital, Meals on Wheels & Savannah City Mission.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
